Position: Sales Area Manager
Department: Marketing & Sales (Commercial)
Hierarchical position: Sales Manager

To manage the customer portfolio, acquire and develop potential customers and markets.

Collaborating with the Sales Manager in achieving commercial objectives
Exercising the management powers assigned to him/her, acting in compliance with the directives received, the approved plans and strategies, the company's policies and procedures in the commercial sector
Managing relationships with customers by maintaining regular (regular visits, emails, phone calls, etc) and professional contacts
Accountable for failure to achieve and deviation from assigned targets
Duties and responsibilities
Knowing the company and group objectives and policies
Achieving sales targets for the assigned area
Making preliminary contact with potential customers through the Business Development structure
Developing sales negotiations, formulating offers, quotations and contracts, negotiating the best sales conditions according to company standards and managing follow-ups
Managing the sales of agents/distributors and analysing their commercial structure
Analysing customers' needs in order to provide them with flexible and personalised support for better use of the product
Maintaining reference markets in order to acquire information in terms of competition, market trends and opportunities, integrating with other company functions
Collaborating with all sectors of the company to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by critically reporting the observations collected
Organising visits to the main international trade fairs in the sector
Periodically reporting to the Sales manager on the progress of the sector of responsibility
Carrying out the procedures relating to those tasks assigned from time to time by the Sales Manager
